Meet Kelly
Growing up, I relied on fast food daily and became addicted to unhealthy foods to cope with mental health issues as an adult. I had no idea how to live a healthy lifestyle and tried every diet under the sun to break the cycle. It became tough for me to lose weight, after seeing countless doctors and nutritionists who gave advice that did not work for my body.
After decades of losing hundreds of pounds and gaining it back, I finally found a solution that helped, and I underwent gastric bypass surgery. Going through the process was incredibly confusing, and I found minimal resources to help guide me through the process.
Bariatric Recipe Guide was born to help fellow bariatric patients with meal plans at any stage of their procedure and lifelong success. I love to make an impact in the bariatric community and make recipes that are easy, budget-friendly, and sustainable for years to come.
